I swear by Apollo the Physician and Asclepius and Hygieia and Panaceia and all the gods, and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will fulfill according to my ability and judgment this oath and this covenant:
醫神阿波羅、埃斯克雷彼斯及天地 諸神作證，我--希波克拉底發誓：我愿以自身判斷力所及，遵守這一誓約。
To hold him who has taught me this art as equal to my parents and to live my life in partnership with him, and if he is in need of money to give him a share of mine，and to regard his offspring as equal to my brothers in male lineage and to teach them this art - if they desire to learn it - without fee and covenant; to give a share of precepts and oral instruction and all the other learning to my sons and to the sons of him who has instructed me and to pupils who have signed the covenant and have taken the oath according to medical law, but to no one else.
凡教給我醫術的人，我應像尊敬自己的父母一樣，尊敬他。作為終身尊重的對象及朋友，授給我醫術的恩師一旦發生危急情況，我一定接濟他。把恩師 的兒女當成我希波克拉底的兄弟姐妹；如果恩師的兒女愿意從醫，我一定無條件地傳授，更不收取任何費用。對于我所擁有的醫術，無論是能以口頭表達的 還是可書寫的，都要傳授給我的兒女， 傳授給恩師的兒女和發誓遵守本誓言的學生；除此3種情況外，不再傳給別人。
I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.
我愿在我的判斷力所及的范圍內， 盡我的能力，遵守為病人謀利益的道德原則，并杜絕一切害人的行為。
I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked，nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion. But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts.
我不得將有害的藥品給予他人，也不指導他人服用有害藥品，更不答應他人使用有害藥物的請求。同樣不給婦 女施行墮胎手術。我志愿以純潔與神 圣的精神終身行醫。
I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest； I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners，specialists in this art.
因我沒有治療結石病的專長，不宜承擔此項手術。有需要治療的，我就將他（她）介紹給治療結石的專家。
In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves.
無論到了什么地方，也無論需診治 的病人是男是女、是自由民是奴婢，我一視同仁，為他們謀幸福是我唯一的目的。我要檢點自己的行為舉止，不做各 種害人的劣行，尤其不做誘奸女病人或 病人眷屬的缺德事。
All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal.
在治病過程中，凡我所見所聞，不 論與行醫業務有否直接關系，凡我認為要保密的事項堅決不予泄露If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot.
我遵守以上誓言，愿讓醫神阿波羅、埃斯克雷彼斯及天地諸神賜給我生命與醫術上的無上光榮；一旦我違背了自己的誓言，請求天地諸神給我最嚴厲的懲罰！
